Mosman Art Gallery Flyer Text: Artist Mai Nguyen-Long uses charcoal animation to describe an emotional response to a song, and a morphing of personal road maps to ‘go beneath the skin’. This installation of two drawing-based new media works (2014) explores abstract journeys of place and memory with fluid notions of identity. Dog/human internal/external mappings question wholeness.
