BACKGROUND: In 2009 over 120 students from 5 primary schools will experience a fun, messy, and fast-paced Mission Mongrel Workshop at ArtPlay. This adventure celebrates transformation whilst liberating a calico bear who then enjoys a cheeky second identity as a mongrel dog. The Mission Mongrel Exhibition will showcase a delightfully unifying display of diverse mongrel personalities. There is no ‘right' or ‘wrong' in this journey through the unpredictable challenges and pleasures of deconstructing a 3D object then remodelling it within a set time frame, using the materials provided.
